BWO obtained a $1,345,000 settlement for a client who was injured when he struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in downtown St. Louis. The defense initially claimed our client illegally crossed the street without a crosswalk. This was not true. We filed suit and pushed to receive videos of the incident from the St. Louis City Metropolitan police department and surrounding business. The videos clearly showed our client in the crosswalk and walking across the street with the right of way when he was struck by a vehicle making an illegal turn. We pursued the case to within days of trial before reach a favorable settlement for our client. We are happy to have helped a worthy client receive the financial compensation he deserved.
